These Documents Are Required

Personal Documents

• Completed and signed Wohngeld application form
• Identity card or passport (copy)
• Registration certificate (not older than 3 months)
• Residence permit (if applicable)

Proof of Income

• Pay slips from the last 12 months
• Pension statement (if receiving a pension)
• Proof of unemployment benefits, sick pay or other social benefits
• Income tax assessment (for self-employed persons)
• Maintenance payments (proof of payments received or made)

Rental Documents

• Tenancy agreement
• Current rent amount (e.g., bank statement or landlord's rent certificate)
• Proof of advance payment for utilities

Household Documentation

• Birth certificates of children living in the household
• Proof of income for all persons belonging to the household
